SEC Won't Tell How It Processes FOIA Requests

Investment News has this article about a FOIA request filed by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington ("CREW") [ed. note - I do legal work for CREW but have not participated in this request as of the date of this posting] to the SEC about the SEC's FOIA process.  The SEC, which has a pretty poor record on FOIA according to the article, has redacted a great many details on its FOIA process in response to the request.  An administrative appeal is pending.
